Great. An image speaks thousand words and My GPS Garmin Nuvi 200
knows where I have been and I can display the data on google earth.
This is simply the result of important a GPS (GPX) file into google
earth. Very handy if you need to track locations in a simple way.
I simply have to press on the Garmin nuvi to remember a location,
give it a name that makes sense for me and then later I know exactly
where I saw what, took what picture and how to get there again. Great
Stuff. It keeps tracks of my history.
Then you can cross-reference this to your images (via flickr.com or
picasaweb). I guess this is called geo-tagging data and make them
visible via a blog (like on http://zog.typepad.com/malaysia).
And this is how the Malaysian Ramly Burger is uploaded in google youtube.com video and appears on google earth. It's all about showing what I saw, tag it with the right location. other link here.
